Deliciously juicy and framed in a high level of refreshment, Ten Ninety questions how much hoppy fruit impressions can you cram into a beer.
Dubbed the Juice God, their hazy IPA pours softly cloudy with a burnish gold hue. As a creamy white froth settles, the nose is stricken by a ripe sense of citrus, tropical, herbal and melon character with a perfumy scent and a twinge of hop spice. As the sweetness settles on the early palate, the first sips are supple with malt impressions of agave, shortcake and honeysuckle.
And as those malt impression weave into the fruit flavors, they give those fruit impressions a more ripe, more radiant and sweeter tone. Tangerine, mandarin orange and kumquat link up with red grapefruit, mango and apricot for a deep and rounded fruit character. As suggestions of pineapple and cantaloup fold into the fruit cocktail mix, the beer starts to dry and reveals a spicy hop finale of fresh grassiness, fresh spruce, lemongrass, sun tea and verbena.
Medium bodied and trying to decide if it wants to be a traditional IPA or a more hazy one, Juice God borrows from both worlds but is hell bent on holding onto all that is fruity, fresh and juicy. Juice God finishes fruity and herbal with a medium length aftertaste of fresh fruit peels, sprucy bitterness and a gin-like botanical quality.

Superbly hazy IMO. No ‘onion’ nose or aftertaste as many have. Tried from tap and pours beautifully. Nice head abd nose is well juicy. Flavor is like a Julius or a ghost, but with less abv.

Puzzlingly, a perfectly clear new England IPA without specifying so in the name. Ordered on tap at Depot Nuevo. Thought I must have the wrong beer, but staff were aware of the problem and said they checked the keg multiple times.

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a one pint can on May 9, 2019. Lacks the thick haze and feel of a true New England style IPA. It is a decent IPA nonetheless.

Had on tap. Neon hazy yellow with tons of white lacing but little head. Hops are fruity in the smell, with plenty of pineapple, lime, grapefruit, and orange. Taste the fruits get a little muted, but the hop bitterness comes through in the end to redeem. Little thin and grainy, but otherwise juicy in feel

Great with various foods, such as broasted chicken and pizza, plus interesting art work
