On-tap at High Cotton Brewing Company, Memphis, TN
A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a patch of white bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of cracker and biscuit malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has some added hints of fruity yeast. Only a faint amount of bitterness is present.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has nice aromas and flavors of malts in the smell and taste, both of which are balanced by fruity yeast.
Serving type: on-tap

Poured from a can into a pint glass. The can had nearly popped, and the pour was overwhelming head. Once it settled, it was a nice amber color with a puffy white head. Smell was funky yeast, balanced by grass. The flavor was very Belgian-esque, an interesting take on an esb. It was smooth to drink, I would try it again if given the opportunity.

On Tap at Firebirds. Pours orange with white head. Aroma is of piney hops, bready malt and ripe fruit. Body is full and crisp. Piney hops, bready malt and ripe fruit fill the mouth. Finish is long and bitter. Very good.

This is a great beer. Diacetyl is a tad high for the style, but it works. I actually like it better than a purist ESB. The high diacetyl also makes it blend well with sours (if you blend). This esb makes a great 50/50 blend with Dogfish Head's Festina Peche (peach berlinerweisse) - like a tart, buttery peach cobbler.
