Had this on tap at a Funky Buddha event at World of Beer on 6/29/17. Although the last review is from Jan 2016, it appears this is not actually retired or has been brought back. In any case, the beer presented well with a dark, thick, slightly pinkish head. Tasted heavily of raspberries with a sweet (maybe too sweet for my taste), tangy finish.

Another thanks to rudzud for sharing this growler.

Pours a nice thick frothy darker colored 1 finger head that fades at a med pace and nice frothy lacing, clear but very dark mahogany slight ruby hue.

Nose brings lots of watery milk choc, some raspberry filling in the background, milk froth but not really latte, caramel and little creamy expensive choc, light toasted brown malt, maybe a bit of candy coffee and caramel like.

Taste continues, big raspberry chocolate candy, a hint of coffee, like one of those flavours iced coffee with caramel raspberry and chocolate with some creamy milk froth and lactose sugar, nice creamy milk choc and expensive liquid chocolate like the filling of lindor. Little bitter raspberry tannic seed on the background, with raspberry truffle choc. Finish is a little sweet and creamy milk choc, lingering raspberry truffle chocolate and caramel, faint coffee, faint nutty caramel candy bar late.

Mouth is a bit thin, decent carb, little creamy.

Overall pretty good, great raspberry, nice chocolate, little lacking on coffee latte and pretty thin, but otherwise quite tasty.

Shared with JLindros.

A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a thinnish brown hue though darkens in the glass with a nice two finger mocha head that fades to leave sticky lacing and a thin blanket.

S - Aromas of creamy milk chocolate, lactose cream, bright raspberry, very faint coffee. Caramel, sugar, smells like a rich chocolate raspberry iced coffee with loads of extras, not much coffee.

T - Taste is bright raspberry, super creamy milk chocolate, creamy milk, caramel, light coffee. Tastes like a rich raspberry mocha iced coffee. Light raspberry fruit and seed on finish. Not cloy or fake with a hint of nuttiness. The chocolate is super rich!

M - Mouthfeel is on the thinner side.

O - Overall this beer was really nice, awesome chocolate notes. Barely any coffee though. Is this was marketed as a chocolate covered raspberry porter I would be throwing out 4.5's, but due to the lack of coffee I can't do it.

Had this on draft a few times lately. It's delicious! This would be a big hit if Funky Buddha decided to bottle it. It's sweet (maybe more raspberry than latte, however) with a great aroma.

I rounded up to a 4.5-star review on Untappd since the app doesn't allow for .25 increments (other than .5), but this really is more in the range of 4-4.25.

On tap at the brewery.
Sweeter and not as appealing in flavor as the Pumpkin Latte Porter.Excellent aroma.
Lovely clear, dark reddish body with a decent head that leaves some sticky lacing.
Raspberry largely overshadows the other flavor components.
