On tap at Maple Bacon Day. Served in a plastic cup.
Appearance - Black. A little transparent. Small off-white head.
Smell - Some bourbon. Lots of caramel. Oaky. Smells very sweet.
Taste - Caramel. Very sweet. A little bit of chocolate. Bourbon is secondary. A little oaky. Missing the roastiness of the base beer.
Mouthfeel - Heavy. Very sweet. Medium carbonation.
Overall - This lacked the impressive characteristics of the base beer.

Dark as night, got an 8 oz pour at MCBP day. Look and smell were good but the mouthfeel was ok and the taste was way too sweet with the barrel. Came off very syrupy.
