Enjoyed on-tap at Oblivion in Orlando. This imperial porter features cocoa, smoked habanero peppers, molasses, and sea salt. The peppers create a lingering spiciness in the background. The sea salt definitely comes through with a little sweetness. Overall, another solid brew from Funky Buddha.

Pours a mahogany color with a frothy tan head. Such an interesting blend of tastes on the palate. From rich caramel and molasses to slight smokiness and dark chocolate with sea salt notes followed by a bit of heat from the habaneros. It is just a touch of heat and not a lot of burn so you can experience all the flavors without any one taking over. Love this beer!
