look: 3.75 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5
Pours a slightly amber golden yellow with minimal foam.
Fruity hop character with a touch of biscuity malt sweetness.
Fruity hop flavor emerges on the palate with a touch of caramel malt sweetness, but very underwhelming overall.
Light-bodied, low carbonation, crisp, easy drinking.
Overall, while this is certainly a beer that goes down with ease, that's just about all it provides. A lackluster hop and grain bill provide little more than drinkability. Very little flavor overall.

look: 3.5 | smell: 2.5 | taste: 2.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 2.5
Clear amber-yellow brew; small head with OK retention.
The nose is dominated by an underlying diacetyl note. This does not bode well.
Unfortunately, flavor follows the nose. It's a zesty brew, with bright hops and a caramel malt base, but oh - the butter! The diacetyl note makes it hard to take and almost impossible to finish.
I can't imagine this is how the beer is supposed to taste. I've also never gotten a diacetyl note before from Funky Buddha brews. Either something went wrong, or their collab brewery is to blame. Either way, this was barely drinkable, and not particularly pleasant.
