On tap at Maple Bacon 2016. Black body. Smells of rich coffee. Lactose. Milk chocolate. Tastes similar. Nice coffee. Lightly acidic from the coffee. Nice roast. Less intense on the lactose than I expected. Pretty tasty. Heavy and sweet. If it’s Snowed In, where’s the barrel?

I had this beer at the MBCP Release Party in January and didn't rate it at that time. I remember it looking dark brown in color with a tan head. Smell is definitely kona coffee which smells great but not smelling much coconut. Taste follows the nose with nice quality coffee notes but again I didn't pick up much coconut. The feel was a little boozy with a slight burn. Not a bad thing in this case. Overall, it was my 6th beer of the release party and quite honestly my taste buds were on overtime so I need to try it again. Just so happens it's on tap at the 3rd Anniversary Party so I'll revisit this beer in a couple weeks.
