Clear dark nut brown ale in the glass; small head, with OK retention.
On the nose, it's nutty, sweet, and smooth, but does little to imply pecans specifically.
Flavor follows: restrained sweetness, along with a nice blend of caramel malt and pecans. It's not over the top with the adjunct, and instead settles into a very enjoyable middle ground of flavor.
