Take flight space cadets! Our spring Goodness Series release is on the horizon.

Cosmic Journey is a hazy IPA that takes your taste buds on a galactic voyage through intertwining flavors of ripe papaya, juicy guava, and super-dank mosaic hops. With flavor and aroma this far out, it must be from another planet. This will be our first ever packaged hazy New England-style IPA! At 5.5% ABV and 40 IBU, it's mellow enough to crack a few cans poolside and also ample for pouring into a snifter to enjoy complex flavor and aroma in complete harmony.

Funky Buddha Cosmic Journey pours a dusty golden color with whiteish sudsy head. Freshly fragrant bouquet and sticky lacing. Ultra smooth drawdown that slips by on the tongue without hop resin overstay. Agree with the citrus commentary on the can. Quick arrival of warming, so too the carbonation release. Balanced, this mature brew well executed. The 6.8% ABV, hits the mark. A keeper brew with a semi dry finish.

I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from Binnys in Montgomery, IL. It poured a hazy yellow with no head and no lace. The scent had grapefruit zest. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with grapefruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

My can is 3 months & 2 weeks old so it's a little date but it's still drinkable. The pour is a light hazy orange with some chunks in it. The aroma is intense & bitter & the taste is the same sort of like garlic & onions. Additionally, i'm getting some bitterness from the guava as well as some sour on the taste & there is slight papaya as well, & some dank, it's an interesting IPA. Well at least now I can say I was able to have a beer that had guava & papaya added to it. Cheers! B

T- equal parts guava and orange zest up front, followed by some pithy notes, as well as some herbal notes, the finish gives more citrus peel, lingering bitterness with more citrus
