On tap at the Buddha. Served in a snifter.
Appearance - Black with a khaki head. Collar of foam. Head lasts for about an hour before dissipating. Had to wait that long for it to come up to temp.
Smell - Bucket of raspberries. Some chocolate. A little bit of vanilla but not a lot of barrel.
Taste - More barrel here. Vanilla, but no real bourbon. Lots of raspberries here again. Nice raspberry flavor. Never feels artificial. Barrel character comes back in the finish.
Mouthfeel - Heavy and sharp acidity from the raspberries. Medium carbonation. A little sluggish to drink.
Overall - Great fruit flavor, decent barrel. Seems like a good stout back there too.
