Average beer, average taste, average flavor. Nothing to complain about but nothing to go nuts over. Lacks the normal "house flavor" that most small breweries have, a definite plus in my book.

On-tap at Capital Brewery. 12oz poured into a plastic cup 9/2/2014.
A- Slightly hazy cloudy yellow body, one finger frothy white head with good retention time. Rings of lacing. Looks like beer for the most part. [3.25]
S- Peppercorn, bread, grainy malt, a bit of musty farmhouse funk, crackers. Not too shabby. [3.5]
F- Bread, farmhouse funk, crackers, a bit of pear skins, not tart at all. Nothing too complicated. [3.25]
M- Thinner bodied, good carbonation with a bit of a fizzy kick to it, but with a refreshingly dry finish. [3.25]
O- Falls wholly within the spectrum of farmhouse ale; nice maltiness mixes in with a slight bit of funk and pears to make for a slightly different kind of beer experience amongst all the lagers on tap at Capital Brewery. [3]
Final score: 3.25
