375ml capped/corked bottle served in a pair of little Cantillon glasses. 2018. Bottle label says, "Blackberry Sage Flemish-Style Dark Ale aged in a Grenache Vat with Blackberries & Sage"
Pours a dark, possibly purple color with a very small head and not much carbonation. Smell is tart and super fruity. Blackberry comes across strongly, and there's a hint of sage.
Taste is an interesting blend of tart and savory. Blackberry is there, but wood and sage come along.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little oily. Overall...I don't love this beer, but I like it, and I think it's really interesting.
