Copenhagen 18/12 2022. 50 cl bottle from BulgarskMad, Åboulevarden, Kbh. N. The usual design for the Medalus brand with some apples and cranberries.
Pours clear red with a mid-sized pink head. Stable. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a scent tart berries and harsh butter. Apple cider and cranberries. Butter and bile.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a bit. Finish is sweet cider.
A cider-like and somewhat too sweet brew.

S: Sweet-ish, caramel, malts. Quite synthetic aroma.
T: Sweet-ish, fruity, caramel. Quite tasty and refreshing but leaves a sticky artificial mouthfeel.
