Pours a hazy yellow and beige looking color. A sudsy head retains well and yields lacing.

Bright and fruity aromas dominate the nose. Citrusy notes of lemon and orange zest, along with aromas of pineapple and peach. There are also hints of pine and floral hops.

The taste opens sweetly with a balance of bready malt and juicy hops flavors. Fruity notes of pineapple, peach, grapefruit, lemon and lime. Spicy and herbal notes of pine begin to develop, along with some West Coast bitterness.

Medium bodied with a mostly crisp mouthfeel. The carbonation is moderate.

Not the most spectacular IPA, however, it’s easy enough to drink.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pineapples are present in the nose along with hints of apricots and peaches.
T: The taste follows the smell with flavors of pineapples, apricots and peaches but has underlying hints of caramel and pale malts along with a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is easy to drink and has some interesting aromas and flavors from the hops that start off a little subtle and get a bit stronger as the beer warms up.

The taste of this beer makes you feel like you’re at the beach - it’s pretty sweet for an IPA with some hints of maltiness. It’s not the best IPA I’ve ever had but it was crisp and I would definitely try it again.

Awesome fresh feel taste with fruity and hoppy punch and smooth on the palate and at the checkered flag. Delicious.

Nicely fruity but too sweet for an IPA, lacking any perceptible bitterness. Nevertheless, it's a drinkable and supremely enjoyable brew in its style, and might be one of Rockaway's better offerings.
