From the can, pours a slightly hazy yellow with hints of orange. A creamy white thumbnail length head displays good retention.
The nose is rife with fruity hops sweetness. Juicy aromas of orange pulp, lime, pineapple, mango, gooseberry and kiwi. Herbal notes of pepper and grass add some contrast.
Opens sweet and juicy with little to no bitterness. A fluffy and smooth malt backbone of biscuity malt and creamy oats provides a soft blanket for the candies fruits to thrive. Notes of grapefruit , orange, lime, pineapple and mango are balanced by piney and peppery hops and alcohol spice. The finish is fruity and like no with a light bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth and moderately carbonated.
Very juicy and complex. First time I’m hearing about this People Power series, in support of the ACLU, of which various breweries are participating. Happy to support the cause. Good beer to boot.
