Pour: On draft at the Roofer's Union in D.C. Poured into a tulip glass. Appearance: Light golden straw. About a finger of white head. Lacing present. Lazy bubbles make their way up through the brew. Aroma: Not much on the nose. Can detect slight amounts of citrus aromas. Slight hop and malt notes as well. Taste: Citrus up front but fades quickly. Medicine-like notes? Cant detect much of the lemon or at least expected more. Very subdued. Aftertaste: The lemony citrus that is present, quickly fades to reveal a malty backbone. There is a lingering bite but nothing to write home about. Overall: Okay, 2 out of 5

Transparent gold, minimal head and lacing. Smells like bright citrus, naturally, but where this shines is in the flavor. Lemon zesty with a nice citrus hop bite. ABV and body is moderate, making this one a little too drinkable. Solid!

This beer had a lot of hype and didn't live up to expectations. Was thin on mouthfeel with alcohol on the nose.
Slight lemon flavor to it but the malt sweetness came through took much.
