This is an excellent DIPA. The aroma has the citrus, melon, pine going on with a slight sour back. Still the aroma is excellent for style. The beer is not overly sweet (thank goodness) which contributes to a more balanced mouthfeel for a beer @ 9.2%.

From a fresh can, pours a moderately hazy deep orange. A finger of off-white foam leaves spotty lacing, but more than you usually see at this ABV. Smell is tropical fruits and some sweet malt, with spicy, piney notes. Taste is fruity hops combined with spicy resin and earthiness. Not as much malt on the taste as the smell indicates. Nice medium feel, very drinkable with no alcohol detectable. Really nice, clean beer.
