Some big soy sauce teriyaki beef jerky notes to this that are just not my jam. It looks beautiful and has a good mouthfeel though for what it's worth.

Looks great and the mouthfeel is full and round with nice viscosity and hides the 12.3% abv very well. Flavor-wise I'm getting more sour notes here rather than sweet banana and dark fruits. It's not terrible but it's also not great. Overall I'm disappointed.

Extraordinary excellent stout. Had on tap at RAR, and later from canned 4 pack... both velvety smooth rich stout full of dark chocolate; dried fruit and banana. Mild roast with gentle background sweetness.
Have enjoyed RAR stouts over the years, but this is just the next step towards making some of the best imperial stouts in the country.
FWIW... having just come back from Tree House and Trillium and drinking their big stouts... RAR’s You Reap What You Sew stood up fine in that company
