Hazy maroon/ruby color with a light pink foam. Bare minimum lacing and a whispy head on top.
Odd metallic aroma coupled with a strong sweetness. Lots a raspberry and hints of cherry skins.
Cloying. Moderate to low tartness/acidity but it really kind of lingers on your tongue and in the back of your mouth....borderline stomach acid. The raspberry and cherry are present, but coupled with the overwhelming sweetness, it's reminiscent of Pop Tarts filling. Light cinnamon and a slight grainy quality.
Somewhat dry. Low carbonation and a little syrupy.
This is a weird sour, and it's not my thing. It feels like an odd mix of a fruited wild ale and a Berliner, with none of the desirable attributes of either.
