16 ounce can poured into a Tulip.
L: Drab gold, hazy and opaque, one finger of mousse-like foam leaving a little lace, some rising bubbles are visible close to the glass.
S: Decent strength nose, mostly pineapple and tropical hop aromas.
T: Same as nose, moderately bitter, medium sweet bread/biscuit malt.
F: The medium weight body is soft, smooth and creamy. Carbonation is medium, finishes with a little warmth.
O: A big imperial. I generally steer clear of IPA's labeled "Triple" but this was rather good and more drinkable than expected.

Amazingly smooth for 10%+ ABV. Thick and viscous with an almost soupy consistency. Hides the alcohol very well. Huge notes of citrus and tropical fruit with just enough bitterness to cut the sweetness.

Nice TIPA. Hazy style ale that I really like. Reminds me of Slip Ons "on steroids". Very similar taste and nose profile. Not quite in the style of some of the big Russian River or Seattle RR pushback TIPAs ( ie revenge for no longer distributing to Washington state) , whch I tend to associate with this class. But a very good very well made beer that I highly recommend
