Another solid (D)NEIPA from RAR. After a while these tend to blend together although RAR NEIPAs tend to be more pine-forward with a bit more bitterness than the other locals (Burley Oak, Aslin). Citrus pith and pine with some tropical fruit.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Purchased at the brewery.
Creamy and rich white topped forming head. Fine bubbles in the top, with excellent lacing, matching though with a muted solid body, not quite turbid but dark lemon yellow appearance.
Aroma touches a bit of earth, stinky dank, and not much else in the hop arena. Neutral yeast and malt. Not much presence of aromatic qualities from anything else. Good, but a little empty and one dimensional, and also missing classic NEIPA quality judging from the appearance and angle this is going towards.
Decent palate. The mouthfeel on this strikes me particularly. Quenching, and almost crisp, with a good chunk of playful fizz, but with a heft of malt body. Soft chewy hop palate, with a light touch of green herbs. Aftertaste hits with dank and rich thick acid explosion.
Take your NEIPA, ditch the sweetness and go for earthy richness… This is what you get.
