The beer pours some very light brownish tan head that dissipates very quickly. The beer itself has a nice look. It's a chocolate black with a brown hue to it. The texture seems a bit thin though.
The smell is fantastic when it warms up a little bit. It gives off a good sweet chocolate mixing with an equally stringent vanilla note that is followed by a deep chocolate fudge.
The taste is pretty good. It starts off with a strong vanilla note and the two different chocolate notes come out. The milk chocolate is the strongest of the two but there are strong hints of a bittersweet dark chocolate that comes out every so often. The finish is a delicious sugary chocolate with cocoa.
The feel is good. It's actually a medium bodied beer with a fairly thin bodied and very light carbonation. Very easy drinking.
Overall, this is a pretty good and indulgent beer that definitely delivers on its promise.
