Poured from 16oz can into my BeerAdvocate teku. Canned 7/20/23! Wow, so this guy is not brand-spanking-fresh, but I’m guessing that with a beer of this nature, it doesn’t matter all that much.
Appearance: this beer answers the eternal question: “what if Pepto Bismol were green instead of pink?” It looks like a melted shamrock shake. But, like, with a beer like this, what even is the meaning of “to style”?
Smell: it smells pretty, good, like a piña colada: pineapple, coconut, and general sweetness. If you are a fan of ridiculous beers like this, then you will probably like it.
Taste: a little sour, rather sweet, more coconut than pineapple in the flavor. Hard for me to think of this as beer, but … gosh darn it, I kind of like this monstrosity.
Mouthfeel: plenty of smooth body from the lactose but carbonation is minimal, and as such so is creaminess. Not bad, but even a little carb would be great here.
Overall: this beer is dumb, and I am dumb for liking it.
