From an older can (canned in Feb 25), it pours a hazy yellow color with a very large white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets citrus, lots of citrus, almost hazy IPA like. The mouth follows with a citrusy brew with very light bitterness. Mild pleasant aftertaste.

Let's start the weekend! Nose gives me citrus and grain and some general freshness and earth tones. Flavor is assertive for something marketed as a pilsner but this tastes much more domestic and is aggressively hopped for any lager, especially on the front end. Not exactly what I was expecting but pretty tasty and a little different.

12 oz can canned 3/9/25 into a Pils glass.
L: SRM 3 pours straw light yellow with a large soapy matte white head, light steady large carbo bubbles, numerous small pours to fill glass, head recedes to a frothy drift, medium soapy lacing.
S: Dank herbal hops, lightly fruity, very light earthy expressions.
T: Light tastes of all ingredients. Softly sweet, gentle fruits, pale, fruit bread with zest in the finish. I get notes of pear, lemon, apple sauce, a hint of white grape. Malts emerge near the end.
F: Brisk then a fairly flat and semi-juicy medium-light bodied feel with a medium to med-long slightly drying finish. Good dry-hopping.
O: A curious beer that is fairly light in every way. It is refreshing and slightly zesty. A very splendid summer beer for sure at 5% ABV. Easy drinking and is very good in its style.

Canned February 3rd 2025.

Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of foam, good lacing, not quite totally clear.

Smells of citrus, lemon, some grainy malt.

Taste is hoppy with citrus, lemon, hints of grass, malty as in some grain and toast.

Good mouthfeel, good Pilsner.

Off to a good start with a clear, pale gold body, a large white head and good lacing. Aroma was one of those on-again, off-again situations; floral hops made a nice initial impression but then it got a little too corny. Flavor stayed on course though. Grainy, decent bitterness, and just a touch of sweetness to keep things in balance. Crisp, dry mouthfeel. Label states both 'Hoppy Pils' and 'Seasonal Lager'. Yes, all pilsners are lagers but not vice versa and this one seems more like an American lager.
