Starts off with a blend of our favorite caramel and specialty dark malts and then boiled for 10 hours to create a luxurious base. We then added dark Belgian candi sugar during fermentation to add deep notes of vanilla and caramelized sugar before we conditioning it on blueberries and maple syrup. Thick with a balanced sweetness and Saturday morning vibes.

5 oz draft pour at Chessie's Wharf in Annapolis. Pours pitch black with a tan head. Aroma and flavor feature dark roasted malt, sweet caramel, maple, and blueberries in the background. It's fairly boozy but that's okay. Mouthfeel is slick and not quite cloying. Overall a tasty beer but 5 oz is enough.
