We were super stoked to link up with our Lifelong Beer Compadres over at Baa Baa Brewhouse to create something Hoppy. Deadset on all things New Zealand, we landed on some freshies from Eggers Hops, Nelson & Riwaka & topped it up with Nelson Hyperboost & Riwaka SubZero Hop Kief. Notes of Marshmallow Everything, Passionfruit Creams & a Resinous Tropical Citrus Punch.

Thick yellow haze. Nose is peach rings and grape hi-chew. Taste is juicy grape, stonefruit, pear, and fruit gummies. Plush mouthfeel, and medium-bodied. Nicely done.

Sweet tropical hoppy, prominent Nelson white wine grape, lemony-lime zest, and an orange-tangerine citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows very closely with a lemonade like hoppy bitter finish. This is very, very good! I guess it's just me and my palate and preferences, but I am finding that Eggers Nelson leaves me hoping for more of that classic diesel Nelson vibe. I pick it up on the aromatics, but on the palate it's missing IMO. Tastes almost like a danky Citra hop profile instead of that pungent Nelson goodness that I am used to and want.
