Reviewed from my notes taken from my trip to Shanghai a few months ago.
This was a rotating style, this specific one was an English Bitter, or ESB style.
Brings a really nice creamy head, leaves lots of sticky lacing, dark maroon coppery color hazy beer.
Nose sweet caramel malts, little herbal hop character, little bitter like hop profile, slight biscuit toasty malt.
Taste bitter herbal UK hops, copper reddish malts, semi sweet little syrupy, hint of a pepper like vegetal, wants to have pepper heat but doesn't, seems like they added peppercorns to it.
Mouth is med bod, nice carb.
