On tap at Das Pizza and Beer. Golden and a little hazy with a big white head. Smells sweet, kinda bready, perfumey, and floral. Tastes sorta sweet as well. Grainy bread malt. Perfume and floral yeast. A bit of a spicy flavor on the back end, but sweetness builds as well. Medium heavy. It's fine, but definitely not something I would order again.

an interesting collaboration here between blackberry farm and cloudwater over in the uk, a belgian triple, pretty straight up, but quite a bit less rustic and complex to me than the one blackberry farm makes on their own, maybe a bit more classically belgian, high esters from the yeast, and maybe more of a hop complexion on it too, very well made beer, but not really in line with most of what else i have had from them. bright golden honey colored beer with a tall thick rich and sticky pure white head, a very attractive brew with just faint haze. aroma is all belgian yeast to me, green banana, rock candy, pear, white wine, white pepper, ground clove, and lots of white sugar. the flavor is about the same, some wheatiness and starchiness and oomph to the grain base, but not a ton of complexity other than the yeast, minerals and banana and white cake and spices from it, light phenols, tons of residual sweetness, a floral honey note to it, very good, but seemingly fermented a little warmer than would be ideal, like the yeast takes over this a bit, but its tasty and drinkable for the style even still. its always a treat to drink new beers from these guys, this is belgian beer for the lovers of belgian yeast, robust but delicious.
