12 ounce can poured into a standard pint glass…
…which resulted in a huge, nearly 3F white soapy cap that left masses of sticky lacing. Translucent dull golden color brew, unfiltered but see-through. Nice IPA look.
The aromas are light and take time to develop; dry grains, citrus mix with grapefruit up front, light sweet pine.
Lightly caramelized malt flavor with citrus hops. Grapefruit, orange, pine, well blended.
Solid medium bodied. Hoppy , light sweetness up front gives to a dry finish. WCIPA pine.
I agree with the description printed on the can. It works both coasts, slightly unfiltered look from the East Coast IPA scene with an overall West Coast IPA.

Building a classic IPA, but with more aromatic and flavorful hops, Blackberry Farm is getting back to bitter ways with a crisp, clean and flavorful hop bomb.
Golden and chrome in color, BFB IPA caps off with cottony white from and an aromatic display of citrus, stone fruit and light tropics. As its first sip reveals a sweet grain foundation, impressions of honey, caramel and granola soon form.
As the ale drifts across the middle palate its sweetness fades and its more fruity flavors rebound with the brightness and boldness of orange, mango, pineapple, grapefruit and peach. As the taste turns to favor the bitterness, the hops develop a peppery pine character with a resinous bite of grasses, herbs and dry hemp.
Medium bodied and finishing crisp, refreshing and highly drinkable, the IPA is an effortless session with a bright and balmy bitterness that doesn't beat up the palate too much. As it trails into long and resinous aftertaste, it leaves impressions of dried fruit peels and peppery pine behind.

Good clean IPA. Nice copper color with a tight white head. Nose is citrusy as is the taste. Slight pine bitterness, not nearly enough in my opinion. Good beer

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a slightly hazy golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tropical fruits, melons. Taste is the same as the aroma, some herbal notes, moderate bitterness. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a quality beer.

A: Pours a clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising form the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy creamy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering a little more than 75% of the surface of the beer surrounded by a large patch of very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of pine + citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal hops over the top of just shy of moderate aromas of biscuit + lightly toasted + caramel malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of biscuit + lightly toasted + caramel malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of pine + citrus/grapefruit + citrus/grapefruit pith + herbal hops which contribute a moderate amount of assertive bitterness which lingers for quite a while.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp upfront with a light amount of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasantly crisp + dry mouthfeel with nice assertive hop bitterness. Enjoyable more classic style IPA with a decent amount of hop flavors and bitterness.
