L - Bright golden straw with a slight haze that wants to be clear

S - A whiff of tangy bleu sandwiched between citrusy cracker

T - Comes on soft with light bready sweetness before ramping up to fragrant gentle peppery lemon. Funk lingers

F - Perfectly zippy. Bubbles offsetting mild candi syrup

O - Almost perfect pale ale. Crushably refreshing but more complex than it seems.

L-Pours a three fingered head that is lively and rocky. Body is hazy straw gold in color. Slight carbonation is seen.
S-Spicy, sweet grain, phenolic notes and malty sweetness. Stone fruit is there as well. Heavy hit of clove and banana bread at the end, and followed by a nice earthy touch.
T-Bitter touch at the beginning, followed by earthy grain. The phenolic essence from the nose follows into the flavor by way of a slight banana touch. Pretty delicate. There isn't much sweetness there, it is more of an earthy experience. Decent clove and nutmeg spice throughout. Not bad by any means.
F-Crisp with a nice dry finish. Light bodied.
O-It isn't an other worldly experience (pun intended because I just watched Nope), but it's a very well made and pleasant Belgian styled ale. I love how it is simultaneously earthy and refreshing. I had this in a can, and would love to compare it to a bottled version. I will seek this out again because I know if I see my ranking as final.

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This solid brew from the Little Lady's daughter (Thanks Jeanette)
pours a chill hazed amber tinged straw color with a fantastic head of white foam that settles to
a thick ring and layer with excellent lacing. Nose of light melon (musk and honey-do), light
cracker, light pear, light Belgian candy sugar, and spicy hops. Flavors surpass with spicy hops,
light cracker, light green apple, light pear, subtle melon notes, light white pepper, light clove,
coriander, and grassy hop touches. Nice mouth feel; medium light body, light soft carbonation,
and a lightly bitter hop laced medium dry finish.

Overall---a solid little brew!

Cheers

1700th review!

Appearance - Pours a hazy apricot gold with three fingers of frothy white head.

Smell - spicy earthy and floral hops, pear, honeydew melon, honey, orange peel, biscuity malts, black pepper, banana, clove, and earthy yeast.

Taste - spicy earthy and floral hops upfront, The pear, honeydew melon, honey, and orange peel follow suit. The black pepper, banana and clove follow suit. The biscuity malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.

Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth with all elements lingering.

Overall - A malty, fruity, and easy drinking brew that delivers on all fronts of the style. A nice find here in Cowtown! I hope to find more offerings from this brewery.
