Brewed in collaboration with Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. of Charleston, SC. Haus Guest is a German-style Helles Lager that pours a brilliant golden yellow and presents a cracker-like maltiness on the palate, with a subtle Noble hop character from Tettnanger and Cryo Saaz hops. Haus Guest finishes clean, dry, and beautifully balanced.

A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate bright yellow + pale yellow colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Just shy of moderate aromas of cracker + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. Light to moderate aromas of lager yeast. Light aromas of spicy + grassy + herbal hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of cracker + grainy malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of lager yeast. Finally there are light flavors of spicy + grassy + herbal hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which fades away leaving a relatively clean finish.
M: Medium bodied with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a relatively clean mouthfeel. Hints of dryness.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a refreshing crisp + clean mouthfeel. Well balanced and enjoyable with a classic hop profile.
