Nice complete lacing with very thin head. Deeper orange amber color than Fate Ciera IPA. Aroma is clean and fresh with interesting balanced lemon and coffee aroma; also butterscotch, lemon merengue pie, chocolate; lovely complexity and balance. Palate of rich coffee, semi-sweet chocolate chips, lemon, grapefruit, sour bitter balance, definitely hoppy. Pros very unique, but it works! For me I don't think I could drink it on a regular basis because of the high intensity/surprising smash of coffee, lemon, hops; refreshing, crisp, balanced. Cons too unique, confusing to my palate to be sessionable also leaves a rich drying palate, probably a little low on acidity for me. 89/100.

Outstanding beer. The vegetal character of the coffee used paired excellently with the hop quality of the IPA. The combination was very pleasant as the coffee and hops synergized to provide a rich and favoful combination.
