On tap at the brewery; poured into a pub glass.
Appearance - dark gold, plenty of bubbly carbonation that holds a medium white head. Lacing is solid along the top ring and scattered on the way down the glass.
Smell - a blast of citrus and a touch of flowers and earth; a mouth watering nose!
Taste - grapefruit, maybe some orange and lemon zest; very drinkable and refreshing!
Feel - aggressive bitterness from the citra hops upon the first few sips, but there's just enough mellowing malt presence to calm things down and finish off comfortably!
Overall - impressive single hop with plenty of character! Fate is entering this into the GABF pro-am, and suspect it may do well!
