this is a mild summery american pale ale with come cool australian hops, galaxy focused i believe, and although its not as hoppy as it could be overall, its a nice delicate highly drinkable take on the style and another solid brew from these guys. mostly clear, hay colored in the glass, pretty and holding an inch of white head, rapid and swift carbonation racing to the top of the glass. sells grassy and a little citrus, lemon and limes come to mind, quite clean and not at all abrasive in terms of bitterness or intensity. in the flavor, i actually wish for a little more of the hops, i like the taste they bring, a mix of fresh cut grass and light bright citrus fruit, but the are not as forward as they could be, more would be welcomed here, although the beer does present itself as very balanced as a result. the grain appears to be just a basic two row pale malt, but its as light and sort of delicate as the hops are, a mellow balance is achieved here, and the result is great. awesome carbonation and not too light in body, they have really captured the summer vibe here nicely, i could drink this by the pitcher. i havent loved most of the hoppy stuff from fate, i tend to like their german styles and darker beers better, but this is a good one!

On tap at FATE; poured into a pint glass.
Apperance - gold, with mild carbonation, thin white head with decent lacing.
Smell - pale malts dominate the nose, but the galaxy hops make a prescence.
Taste - follows the nose with more Australian pale malts contributing, but the Galaxy hops have a stronger influence on the flavor than they do in the nose.
Feel - relatively boring, really; nothing stands out and it comes off a bit watered down.
Overall - I like FATE and most of their beers, but this was less than spectacular.
