This - which they called "Rose" and "Red" when we were there (their website also refers to the Marzen as "Red," so apparently that is this beer) was an enjoyable beer with fairly full body, good character.

Pale amber, on the golden side, it had a big white head slowly shrinking to thin lasting top,, some wispy lace.
Aroma is mostly malty, fruits, fermenting apple.
Taste is fruity-apply sweetness with light zesty bitterness balancing the light sweetness,.

On-draught into a dimpled mug at the brewpub...odd presentation, seeing as they have more appropriate glasses available (and serve the helles in them).

Appearance is semistandard...a white cap of 2cm width and a hazy copper body. Oddly dark and dull for a marzen.

Aroma is off the mark. Buttery notes (diacetyl is hideous in a festbier), stale barley, caraMunich malts.

Taste matches the aroma and is too sweet. Definitely imbalanced. Simple and shallow, which would actually be fine if this had the drinkability you'd expect in a great festbier.

Mouthfeel is off. Buttery, smooth, wet, medium-bodied, unrefreshing. Overcarbonated.

This ain't great. It's nice to see an Albanian brewpub trying out German styles, but this just isn't as drinkable as a festbier needs to be, and the flavour is lackluster.
