October 25th, 2013 - Modern Times has taken their Lomaland - an MT staple - and infused it with the ginger smell of hibiscus. The end result, as far as the nose goes, is a new smell of crackers and graham crackers. Mealy and slightly sweet, even honeyed, it's a fine aroma, though not as floral as one might expect by the label. The flavor is slightly sour, and here too I'm having a hard time locating where the hibiscus is, or how it's changing the landscape of the Lomaland's flavor profile. Instead, there's a bit of saffron, more of the cracker, and the sour punch which gives this brew life and vibrancy.
