Pours a clear, pale golden yellow color with a two finger pillowy white head that slowly settles into a thin, lasting ring. Good retention with sporadic streaks of soapy lacing left behind.
Slightly musty farmhouse aroma with funky yeast, wild bugs and peppery spice along with earthy hop bitterness, pale biscuit malts, citrus and light fruit sweetness. Great complexity in the nose with hints of apple, pear, funky bugs, resinous pine, grass, biscuit, bread, lemon peel, pineapple and grapefruit.
Medium body with complex flavor profile and a nice hybrid of farmhouse and IPA characteristics. Some funky farmhouse yeast with peppery spice, bready yeast, citrus and light fruit. This is countered by dank hop bitterness, juicy tropical fruit and a pale malt backbone. Funk, peppery spice, grassy pine and resinous hops along with lemon peel, grapefruit and pineapple. Bread, biscuit, apple, pear and subtle alcohol. Complex, well balanced and very easy to drink at 7.4%. Nice beer.
