This breathtaking act of liquid conjury was achieved through the convergence of Modern Dogma imperial porter, mulling spices, and brandy-soaked hickory.

Bought a half pour of this after loving it on my final pour of a flight. Had heard of it (I actually added it to Beer Advocate, which I forgot until just now), but never tried it.
Poured a black color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy white head when I got it. No bubbles underneath. Outstanding spotty lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled cinnamon, Mexican chocolate, nutmeg, molasses, vanilla, apple cider and that warm mix of holiday spices. Is that the mulling spices that I got? I think so. (Smell - 4.25)
Taste followed the nose with cinnamon, cinnamon stick, apple cider, nutmeg, mulling spices, vanilla, Mexican chocolate, coffee, molasses, licorice and anise. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was so good. Looking back on it I think I overrated it a bit. Either way it was good. (Overall - 4.50)

On tap at the brewery tasting room. They call this a Strong Porter with spices. And so it is. Not wimpy pumpkin pie spice either. It's an onslaught of Mexican chocolate spices, with massive cinnamon, ginger and something peppery. Endless cocoa and coffee. I'd have to say this is my least favorite Modern Times beer ever.

I nice spiced porter with cinnamon notes that are not overwhelming.
