This spectacularly tasty, hazy DIPA is a glorious juice party stuffed with ridiculous quantities of Citra, Idaho 7, Simcoe and Centennial hops, yielding a magical rainbow of tropical, citrusy, stoke fruit-laden awesomeness.

Sweet, orange grapefruit citrus, trop-hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with prominent grapefruit citrus on the finish. It lingers on the back of the throat...decent depth and feel. Good!

This must be about as hazy a beer as I've ever seen. It's opaque, like grey orange juice. It smells like citrus of some sort. The flavors are totally juice as well. It's even more acidic than orange juice, though. The taste is sweet orange followed by grapefruit peel and the harsh finish.
While the flavor is interesting the biting mouthfeel and sharp, gunky aftertaste is not. I didn't see this mentioned as another of Modern Times/ murk bombs, but lo and behold. I can only drink a small glass of this stuff. It would be better in recappable bottles. PIcked up at the MT brewery in San Diego.

Stopped over at the Modern Times North Park location for lunch from Rubio’s and a beer. Figured why not review one, too? Online description read, “The latest in our spectacularly tasty DIPA series is a glorious juice-party stuffed with ridiculous quantities of Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, & Idaho 7 hops. Ready your face for a magical rainbow of tropical, citrusy, stone-fruit-laden awesomeness.” Yum.
Poured a bright pale hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white head when I got it. Not noticeable bubbles from what I could see. Good spotty lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled Citra and Simcoe right away. Also orange juice, pineapple, red grapefruit, Tropical Juice, passion fruit, papaya and apricot. Very juicy, making we want to try it (Smell - 4.25)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but followed for sure. Got spicy Simcoe, sharp Citra, pineapple, red grapefruit, orange juice, bitter orange peel, passion fruit, apricot, dry dank Idaho 7 and pine resin. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Juicy, dry finish. (Feel - 3.50)
This was just an outstanding New England Style beer. In fact, could feel the spice on my lips and could taste the dankness some four hours after finishing it. (Overall - 4.00)
