Tons of vanilla, cinnamon, coffee and chocolate in the nose. Tastes sweet with the same flavors that were in the nose. Medium body with decent carbonation. Tasty beer.

Lots of cinnamon, smooth and delicious, easy drinking and well-masked alcohol. Hints of vanilla, slight traces of vanilla and coffee. Lacing and head retention is only ok. Not as complex or deep as I would hope; I think the cinnamon unfortunately drowns out the other flavors. Overall a solid dessert stout.

I guess everyone else was too underwhelmed to even write anything about this one, so allow me to share a few words: For all the adjuncts in this beer, it's boring. I'm impressed when multiple flavors all successfully work together, each sharing a moment in the spotlight. This beer is the opposite of that. Cinnamon? Where? Coffee? I guess. Almond? Um, sure. Vanilla? If you say so. Aroma was bland, flavor was indistinguishable darkness, and the mouthfeel was really light and watery. I like Modern Times stouts, usually more than I like their IPAs, but this was not one of their best, and if anything, one of their worst.
