Collaboration with Other Half Brewing Co.
This roaringly successful collab with our homies at Other Half was loaded with shockingly massive amounts of Citra hops, plus an extremely generous dose of Nelson and Cashmere. Drinking it is roughly approximate to getting launched out of a cannon through a grove of fragrant citrus and landing in a pile of ripe stone fruit and mango. If you're curious about the name, we thoroughly recommend a dive into the internet rabbit hole. Spoiler: You won't find any birds there.

16oz can, Modern Times snifter glass. Pours a cloudy pulpy yellow body, one finger thick white head, good retention, bit of lacing. Smell is pulpy orange, a bit of lemon zest, mild resin, touch of spice. Medium caramel. Flavour follows really nicely however- big smooth creamy spicy herbal resin, grapefruit, orange pulp. Smooth creamy medium body, balance of nice caramel and big hop aromatics. It does reasonably well, a very slight hop burn to it. Enjoyable and definitely more than solid.

Thanks to the kindness of a friend I was able to a couple of cans of this. Fantastic offering! Juice bomb all the way... absolutely delicious... loaded with green hop flavors and aromas... tropical fruit and fresh green grass... odd combo but it's delicious and makes me wish I had more of this... incredible effort from MT...

Had a taster of this at Lomaland and loved it, giving it a 4.5 on Untappd and writing, “Holy fuck. Aroma blew my mind, taste not far behind. Turns out a Modern Times/Other Half hazy DIPA is good. Who saw that coming? #Summoned.” And summon I did, making the trip over to Flavordome the next day to try a full pour of this bad boy. Untappd description read, “This roaringly successful colab with our homies at Other Half was loaded with shockingly massive amounts of Citra hops, plus an extremely generous dose of Nelson and Cashmere. Poured a bright gold, hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of off-white head when I got it. No noticeable bubbles beneath the head. Poor watery lacing. Average retention. (Sight - 3.25)
Smelled mango juice, guava, stone fruit, Citra, white grape, grapefruit and Simply Tropical Juice. Not as great as yesterday’s taster. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted mango juice, guava, stone fruit, grapefruit, peach, Simply Tropical juice, Citra, white grape, sharp grapefruit, lime, dry Nelson, tangerine and melon. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Not as good as the day before, but still excellent. (Overall - 4.25)
