Originally brewed honor of our 5th year in existence, we significantly upped the ante for this hazy DIPA by double dry-hopping the hell out of it with Nelson and Motueka hops, which combine with an oat-centric malt bill to create an outrageously fruity, tropical juice-fest with a beautifully soft, pillowy mouthfeel.

Picked up some cans of this on a recent trip to Modern Times. Had a taster, giving it a 4.25 on Untappd and writing, “Excellent for now. Picking up some cans, so I’ll see this in court later.” Description read, “Originally brewed honor of our 5th year in existence, we significantly upped the ante for this hazy DIPA by double dry-hopping the hell out of it with Nelson and Motueka hops, which combine with an oat-centric malt bill to create an outrageously fruity, tropical juice-fest with a beautifully soft, pillowy mouthfeel.” A little pricy at $23.75 for a 4-pack, but was still looking forward to reviewing it.
Poured a bright golden hazy color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Lot of bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Outstanding spotty lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Nelson, pineapple, grapefruit, stone fruit, peach skin, white grape and light caramel. More of the same from the can with the addition of grass and earthy malt. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted better than the nose. Got Nelson, pineapple, papaya, grapefruit, stone fruit, white grape, peach skin, grass and light caramel. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was just awesome. Really grew on me each sip. (Overall - 4.50)

Ugly milkshake orange with a thin white head that falls off to a ring leaving little lacing. Nose is super thick and juicy with a massive juice bomb character. Juicy melon, honey, peach, pineapple, mandarin, juicy AF. the palate open juicy and thick, but miraculously, this works. Thick, peach, mango, orange, pulpy juice but crazily clean and fresh, in it's own way. Wonderful hop expression without necessairly being a fruit expression, despite the fruit being then primary hop character. Drying, juicy, fresh on the finish. Excellent.

16oz can, MT goblet glass. Hazy bright golden yellow colour, one finger frothy white head, great retention and lots of lacing. Smell is underripe grapefruit, spicy herbal resin, tropical fruit, moderate caramel, a touch of oranges. Flavour follows; nice combination of grapefruit, caramel, a touch of papaya, herbal spice, orange and caramel. Reasonably sweet and aromatic, but has a nice spicy resinous bite on the backend. This does it well, as you'd expect. Medium bodied, good carbonation with a spicy resin bite on the backend.
