Really liked the double dry-hopped version of MT5, so knew I wanted to buy these ahead of time, despite the price of $23.75 for a 4-pack. The email description read, “This stunningly delicious murk-lord commemorates our glorious sextennial anniversary with a king’s ransom of with Citra, Motueka, & Strata hops. Prepare for a face-full of tropical, citrusy magic that’s going to make you party like it’s your birthday.” Still new to Strata, but have been hit and miss on it so far.
Poured a golden hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Could see a few bubble streams creeping up along the sides of the glass. Excellent uneven foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Citra and Strata for sure. Also passion fruit, orange juice, mango, strawberry, mixed berry, vanilla, guava, grapefruit and pineapple. Mostly Citra and Strata again from the can, and maybe even a little of the Motueka. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose. Got Strata, Citra, passion fruit, strawberry, mixed berry, mango, guava, vanilla, pineapple, grapefruit, light coconut, lemon zest and caramel. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average-to-lively carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just an excellent hazy DIPA. Sad I only ended up with one for me. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet, tropical/orange citrus, slightly dank, hoppy aromatics on this banger! Taste follows really well with a juicy, citrus bitterness that is not overpowering...notes of dank join the bitterness on the finish as it lingers on the palate. This has outstanding depth and mouthfeel! Great!
