Previously "Artemis." ABV varies by year.
This sublimely refreshing creation was brewed with extra pale premium pilsner malt & toasted, flaked rice before a meticulous hopping with Perle, Hallertau Mittelfruh, & Spalter Select. The result is an incredibly crisp, floral, and enchantingly tasty lager that’s going to drop a top-rope elbow of pure refreshment on your lucky little taste buds.

From a 16oz can. Clear golden color with an inch of foamy white head. Smells of rice and grass. Medium body. Light malt with strong noble hop presence and a dry finish. Interesting, definitely a rice lager but with very German hops.

Ordered a 4-pack of this and two other lagers on a recent Modern Times release. The description was “This sublimely refreshing creation was brewed with extra pale premium pilsner malt & toasted, flaked rice before a meticulous hopping with Perle, Hallertau Mittelfruh, & Spalter Select. Poured a medium yellow clear color with three fingers of rocky-to-frothy white head. Plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass at different speeds. Excellent watery lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled Rice Krispies cereal, grass, hay, salt, herbal, green leaf and pilsner malt. Still newish to the three mentioned hops, but Perle seemed to dominate. Some Noble hops too. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted about as good as the nose. In order got Rice Krispies cereal, salt, grass, hay, Perle, Noble hops, black pepper, herbal, green leaf, pilsner malt, apple, tangerine and hints of peach. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Thin-to-oily texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just an excellent Japanese lager. (Overall - 4.25)
