If you enjoy Space Ways, this takes it to another level.
Look: It has a nice cloudy orange haze, almost like a creamsicle, and picks up a good head on a pour. Look
Taste/Smell: It has tremendous citrus tones, mostly orange, and some stonefruit and passionfruit flavors. But I wouldn't classify this as a dank beer
Feel: It's quite smooth, with good body.
Overall: Definitely will have this again.

19.2oz canned 9-17-20. Opened 12-11-20.
2 1/2 finger white head, dense foam with incredible retention.
Fully opaque, pale golden color.
Solid, fully integrated pour that makes me appreciate Modern Times more and more.
Mango, peach, and lime. Ripe aromas.
Orange, zesty lime, mango, hint of white grape.
Full body and velvety smooth mouthfeel. Low bitterness. Medium length juicy, zesty dry finish.
Solid but unremarkable IPA, I'm catching it just shy of 90 days...potentially a different story fresher and will seek out again. Still ranks very good.
Very Good.

Picked up a 19 oz can from the Craft Beer Hop Stop 12-30-19 for $4.99. Canned on 11-21-19; consumed 2-21-20.
Beer poured a cloudy golden orange with a very nice white head that has some very good hang time.
Nose is nice, fresh citrus and tropical fruits are very up front and prevalent.
Taste is very well balanced with orange, grapefruit, and mango combine nicely with the larger but light base. Finishes with a light touch of pulp bitterness; 5/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and very smooth.
Overall a tasty beer that does not disappoint from one of the more consistent brewers out there!

A couple of 19oz stovepipe cans purchased at Total Wine in Lynnwood, Washington.
Canned on 11/26/2019. Poured in to a pint glass.
Look- Hazy golden orange juice color. solid off-white head with decent retention, moderate lacing. light carbonation streams as it sits.
Smell- Citrus (grapefruit, orange, lemon/lime), tropical fruit (pineapple, mango and passionfruit), stone fruit (apricot and peach/nectarine), green grape. A little dank and crackery malt, peppery and floral notes.
Taste- Follows the nose well, a bit of green onion in there too, the white pepper is much more assertive than in the aroma.
Feel- Medium bodied, on the drier side with a lingering lightly bitter finish, light carbonation on the tongue, well balanced though.
O- I liked this one a lot more than the regular Space Ways. A very nice west coast take on a New England hazy, a definite repurchase.

Can poured into a Modern Times Beer glass
A: Pours hazy peachy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some nice lacing.
S: Spicy pine, tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a little white grape, slightly dank Nelson diesel, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, ripe grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, and lime, tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, apricot, pineapple, peach, and papaya, white grape, spicy pine, some Nelson diesel, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, slightly prickly carbonation, but still pretty soft on the palate.
O: Super crushable, especially for a DIPA in a stovepipe can. I definitely like this amped up version more than the original, but I wouldn't mind just slightly milder carbonation and a couple fewer IBUs though.

Type: 19.2-oz. can
Reviewed as: New England Double / Imperial IPA
Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. Teku glass
Price: $5.49
From: BevMo in La Mesa, Calif.
Purchased: Dec. 6, 2019
Consumed: Dec. 6, 2019
Misc.: Canned on Nov. 23, 2019
To say I was looking forward to this is the understatement of the century. Had been a sucker for Space Ways (4.31) and was counting down the days until this became available to the mainstream public. Finally searched it out and saw that I was near a BevMo, promptly heading over there to buy a 19.2-oz. can. Untappd description read, “This yoked-out version of one of our beloved seasonal IPA's was turned up to 11 and stuffed with unreasonably quantities of Nelson, Motueka, and Simcoe hops.” Here’s to hoping I’m not disappointed.
Poured a golden hazy color with three fingers of frothy-to-rocky white head. Plenty of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Nelson, black pepper, pine, Simcoe, passion fruit, white wine, bitter orange rind, papaya, tropical notes, white grape and light caramel malt. Much shaper from the can. Getting that boozy 8.2 pct. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste wasn’t as good as the nose, but followed it for the most part. Got Nelson, black pepper, pine, Simcoe, white grape, passion fruit, papaya, bitter tangerine rind, sugary grapefruit peel and apricot. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Slightly better than regular Space Ways. For how much Space Ways I have, I could tell the difference for sure. Could taste the ABV difference and overall this one seemed a bit lighter. Excellent. (Overall - 4.25)

From tasting notes 12/15/19
Appearance - Pours hazy and light orange in color. White, half finger width head with fair retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds. Good lacing, with some broken sheeting, lines and small spotting.
Smell - Hoppy aroma. Slightly citrusy, floral and spice character.
Taste - Some citrusy juiciness and slightly floral hoppiness. Faint trace of spice and pine. Hint of caramel? Not much distinctness in flavor, but does have a nice balance.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, smooth drinker with a hint of creaminess.
Overall - Good beer, but somewhat non-descript in flavor. Nice balance and smooth.
