Can from beer mule approx 2 months old.
Smells like ripe melon, papaya, mango.
Ripe mango taste, slight bitterness and burn going down. Little dankness. Banana aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel.
Overall: ok but not impressive.

16 oz can from Brewers Haven. Orange golden pour, thick two finger head. Citrusy aroma, mostly oranges and pith. Taste continues with a mouthful of tangy orange juice. Sweet and juicy and that oh so sharp bite. Nice!

Pours a cloudy yellow. Smell is pine bread, and some citrus. Taste is pine, hops, light orange and lemons. Has a flat, bready taste that I don't care for in a hazy.

Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass. Canned February 3rd 2020.

Solid looking hazy beer. Muted amber with a dark lemon yellow color and opaque not horrilby hazy either. Good solid three finger reaching head, kind of khaki to off white in color, kind of yellow slightly with very fine creamy bubbles. Lots of staying power and excellent lacing. Solid looking IPA.

Aroma is a pleasant hit of spicy herbal hop notes, with a faint hint of dank earthy character. Good sensing sweetness in the aroma as well, a touch of honey and caramel like malt presence in there for simple balance. Not the most exciting hop flavor, but a good presented one.

Palate brings the solid goods. Real good flavors of tropical fruit, and a creamy texture. Nice touches of pineapple soft like tropical fruit, and even a bit of lemon bitterness on the hop flavor. Finish is a hint of juice forgoing some of the soft texture, but the flavors linger with mint and herbal aromas and tastes.

Pretty solid IPA from Modern Times. Very enjoyable to drink for a somewhat hazy NEIPA kind of brew.

Can poured into a Modern Times Beer glass

A: Pours hazy golden orange amber with a frothy pale tan head that settles to a light layer and laces very nicely.

S: Stone fruit, some tropical fruit, citrus, spicy pine, herbal notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

T: Spicy pine and herbal notes, citrus, lemon, orange, and grapefruit, tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, maybe some cherries, plus some overripe mango and papaya, floral notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation

O: Not a total swing and miss, but it feels a little disjointed compared to their usual brews. Meh.

Interesting hazy IPA—there’s a unique bitterness at the end that isn’t a bad thing...it’s almost like “malt” bitter as opposed to hop bitter...really distinct, clean, bright flavors...StonedTrippin below nailed it on the flavor profile...this is actually pretty different from most hazys...I like it a lot!!

this is one of the better hazy pint cans ive had in a recent run of drinking a ton of them, probably way too many, but modern times always stands out in terms of quality, even if this collection of seeming picked at random hops is kind of curious. we have mosaic, comet, and chinook, an unlikely trio, but a successful one to be sure. what i like about this compared with a lot of other trendy hazy beers is its apparent attention to detail, this is well cleaned up, bubbly and dry and drinks light for having some cloudiness to it, it feels right, refined, not heavy and sloppy and forced, and even though the hop profile is real bold here, the beer remains somewhat easy drinking because of its overall quality, way too rare in the style. i get mosaic hops in front of the other two, some bitter grapefruit from the chinook, canned pineapple juice, orange peel, and tea are here to me as well, a little bitter and rather dry to finish, almost a white wine brightness to the whole thing, springy and fresh and nicely proportioned. its hard to find a hazy beer right now thats real distinct and unique, so it ends up being the quality that sets the good ones apart from the bad ones. this is both, and i really enjoyed it. modern times never disappoints! this is maybe more bitter than folks are used to in their hazy beer, but i appreciated it.

Less hazy than some of the NE style. Pours a decent-looking amber with fine-grained foam in the New Belgium snifter. Plenty of smooth carbonation with less of the gunky feel. Remarkable fruity aroma of tangerine and coconut with a whiff of honeysuckle. Hops are listed as Mosaic, Comet, and Chinook. I don't know how brewers get so much variety out of the endless Mosaic beers. This one is clean and full of pineapple and orange peel. Candied citron.

Sweet but so nice with all the fruit. This is quite drinkable and hugely flavorful. It only veers a little into the acidic sludge that makes you want to clear your throat. From the 16 oz can purchased at Liticker's Liquor in OB. Canned-on date stamped on the bottom is 01/19/2020.

Excellent head production, retention, and lacing; body is hazy, mango-orange color, and without flaw. Really, a beautiful beer all around, if you're a fan of the style.

Juicy and slightly herbal nose. Mango and pineapple juice up front, papaya, mandarin orange, light pepper, and Italian herbs. Lightly dank. Not a very strong nose, but a very, very nice nose.

Similar on the palate: it's not overwhelming with the flavors, but it's very nice, balanced, and juicy. Mango, papaya, berries, light notes of bright green herbs. Minor hop burn, but it's not aggressive. Peppers, cracker, grass. Very low dankness. A touch more bitter than a standard NE IPA, but well below WC IPA levels.

Very soft yet lively mouthfeel. Nailed it.

This isn't a crazy amazing IPA, but it's quite good.

On tap in Boise.

Pours hazy straw/lightly gold with bright white head and lacing.

Was hoping for more of a bright pop but not bad...tropical mango, peach, papaya. Light spices and herbal notes.

Taste follows with a stronger sense of melon along with the tropical fruit...also a pleasant spicy ness and dank herbal note. Low bitterness.

Lighter medium body with lower carbonation.

This is a good beer but I expect ‘great’ from Modern Times. However you shouldn’t be disappointed by this solid beer.

Low-star reviews are crazy. This is delicious. Extremely fruity, soft pillowy mouthfeel, and no alcohol burn with light bitterness. Great and drinkable. Dangerously so.

(Caveat: do note that this was in a can) The latter reviewer nailed it when he said it "tasted rotten". This beer tasted HORRIBLE, as if it was pumped through dirty draft lines. Do not waste your hard earned money. I tried their Galaxy Ipa which was notably better.

This beer tastes like its rotten. It was consumed less than two weeks after canning and is one of the worst hazy iPas I have had. I have trusted modern times especially with ipa’s to deliver. This fell way short. My friend and I both dumped them in the sink.
