We stuffed this unbelievably tasty TIPA with boatloads of Galaxy, Nelson, Cashmere, Citra, and Simcoe hops. What resulted is a haze-beast of the highest caliber, with mouthwatering notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and white wine ensconced in a luxuriously smooth, hazy delivery system.

Thank you snrubnivek for this
16 oz can, dated 5/8/20, poured into a teku

A- A hazy/murky orange with a two finger white head.

S- Citrus, stone fruits, some sweet/caramel malts, touch of tropical fruits, piney.

T- Citrus, melons, some stone fruits, a touch grassy/earthy, some malt sweetness, a little piney.

M- Smooth, medium to full body.

O- A decent triple NEIPA, but has that usually overall sweet and less defined malt base issue I have with NEIPA over 10% ABV.

Dense opaque yellow.

Ethanol.

Powdered sugar that covers the hops. I might be picking out Nelson but can't for sure say the others. Malt bill is too strong or it's not, "peaking." Ticks my sweetness box but doesn't fit what I want from a hazy IPA.

No qualms with the feel.

Misc.: Canned on May 8, 2020

Pre-ordered this the previous Saturday, along with another hazy IPA 4-pack, pilsner 4-pack, dopplebock and a barrel-aged stout. This one was probably the one I was looking forward to the most. Email description read, “We stuffed this unbelievably tasty TIPA with boatloads of Galaxy, Nelson, Cashmere, Citra, and Simcoe hops. What resulted is a haze-beast of the highest caliber, with mouthwatering notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and white wine ensconced in a luxuriously smooth, hazy delivery system.” Nelson, Citra and Simcoe and the plus side, Cashmere on the neutral (still new to it) and Galaxy probably minus-neutral for me.

Poured a hazy golden orange color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy white head. Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Almost perfect uneven foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Smelled a pleasant mix of flavors. In order got Galaxy, Nelson, passion fruit, melon, papaya, Citra, tangerine peel, white wine, Screwdriver, peach skin, apricot, lemon candy, grass and herbal. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.25)

First thing I thought was how smooth it was for 10.4 pct. ABV. Got Galaxy, Nelson, passion fruit, melon, papaya, Simcoe, tangerine peel, pulp free orange juice, peach skin, apricot, lemon candy, herbal, grass and Citra. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long, smooth finish. Damn smooth for 10.4 pct. (Feel - 4.75)

Just an excellent beer, especially for the 10.4 pct. Will like to see this one develop each time I have a can. (Overall - 4.25)
