Both complex and incredibly refreshing, June’s hazy IPA will sport an abundance of Nelson, Simcoe, and Idaho 7 hops. Prepare your grill-piece for a symphony of white grape, blueberry, and lychee flavors that promises to be positively enchanting, and a seriously ideal companion for pool parties and barbecues.

Pours a very cloudy golden color with a thick foamy head. Head retention is good. Lacing is very good. Danky citrus and tropical aroma. Maybe grape. Not sure what lychee smells or tastes like. Not real juicy.Has kind of a dank and somewhar burnt taste. Small amount of white grape. Lychee I guess. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

16oz canned 7/24/20, opened 9/7/20.
2 finger off-white head. Fine bead, dense with excellent retention (like so many Modern Times beers).
Dull orange-gold, fully opaque from a well integrated pour. Full and thick lacing.
Orange, grapefruit, citrus peel oils. Zesty. White grape juice makes an appearance.
Grapefruit juice and black or white pepper. Ripe citrus fruit. Zesty grapes. Some tropical flavors show as well.
Full body, soft mouthfeel with low to medium bitterness. Lengthy hop drenched and off-dry finish.
Polished off this 4pk with a quickness. Pleasure to drink.
Very Good to Outstanding.

17oz canned in early July, poured into a can-shaped nonic.
A: Golden haze with a fluffy off-khaki head, bright and inviting.
S: Pretty big tropical fruit notes mixed with strong Nelson characteristics; mango, white grape, dank, apricot.
T: Nelson and Simcoe push across the palate, the pillowy malt profile lets the hops shine; grapefruit, apricot, white wine, hints of white grape funk.
MF: Juicy and fluffy, familiar for a NEIPA.
O: An enjoyable NEIPA that leans into some more unique hop characteristics with the focus on Nelson.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Thick, hazy pour, small creamy head, rings of lacing. Orange juice aroma with tropical undercurrents, sweet, stone fruit too. Tropical fruit is more pronounced in the taste, fruity, thick. This is really sumptious.

despite the description here, i really didnt find this beer to be particularly summery. like, maybe the flavors from the hops are, and there is no denying the nelson in here and all the fruity goodness that it brings, but the beer itself is weighty, super hazy and starchy and thick from the sediment in it, also kind of yeasty to me without all that much of a fermentation profile in the taste, which is an odd feature, but the beer overall tastes very good, it just seems a weird design for a warm weather offering. this is murky right away from the psychedelic green can, a tall white head on a light rusty orange body, rich with sediment. it smells and tastes delicious, nelson right away, canned pineapple, kiwi fruit, green grape, lemongrass, summery here sure. there is also some pine resin and weed dankness to this, close to over saturated but without the green bite when it drinks, but definitely approaching maxed out on the hopping overall. there is some bitterness at the end, and more of it as this warms, but it never quite gets harsh. i get some green apple candy, faint coconut, and sweet oily cooked lemon through the finish as well. a great hop profile, the best of all these varietals at once and in nice proportion with one another, but for me a beer less well refined overall than i am used to from these guys, seems almost super hazy for the sake of being super hazy, like the malt and yeast sides of this are quite unremarkable. that said, im never going to complain about an amazing hop profile like this. glad to be seeing more and more modern times beer in idaho lately, i am an even bigger fan now after visiting their amazing portland location this summer!

Poured from a can about three weeks after the date stamp.
For some reason, I was craving a hazy beer tonight. Visually, this hits the spot, with a slightly hazy, opaque but not turbid, creamsicle orange capped with a generous head that lingers longer than it has any right to.
The aroma is lightly tropical, with some guava and peach notes. Flavor comes off as smoothly creamy, low bitterness, with more juicy notes and a touch of piney resin on the finish. Nicely done.

This is another exceptional hazy ipa from modern times. Appearance is a beautiful, murky, orange glow topped with a fluffy, thick lasting head. The aroma is an array of fruity hops and sweet citrus. Medium bodied and well balanced, not too heavy or too light. It’s profile is fluffy and creamy, slightly sweet, combined with tons of delicious juicy, hoppy flavors.
Fairly low bitterness which is typical of a hazy IPA like this. Overall this is a solid hazy, it's drinkable and refreshing yet full of complex character. Modern times is one of my new favorite breweries, love everything I’ve tried from them so far.
