Collaboration with Other Half
We circled up with the homies at Other Half to brew this hazy juice-fest. Not only is it absurdly tasty and stuffed with ridiculous amounts of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, but a portion of the proceeds will go to the US Bartenders’ Guild National Charity Foundation*, to aid our friends who are currently waiting to get back behind our favorite bars. Really good beer, really good cause—sounds like a win/win, friends

This is near perfect to me. Hope they don’t stop making it and supports hospitality workers so guilt free drinking.

Price: $21.50 for a 4-pack
From: Modern Times Lomaland in Point Loma (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: June 25, 2020
Consumed: June 25, 2020
Misc.: Collab between Modern Times and Other Half; Canned on June 5, 2020
Grabbed a 4-pack of this one after picking up three other 4-pack from a special release. Email description called this, “We circled up with the homies at Other Half to brew this hazy juice-fest. Really good beer, really good cause—sounds like a win/win, friends.” I love that hop combo. This would be my first All Together beer.
Poured a golden hazy color with three fingers of off-white-to-white frothy head. No noticeable bubbles underneath the head. Almost perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Awesome on the nose from the start, getting all three hops. In order got Mosaic, Citra, Simcoe, floral, mango, papaya, guava, bubblegum, pine, grapefruit, lime zest and grass. Big Citra and Mosaic in the can with some hop burn. (Smell - 4.50)
Taste wasn’t quite as good as the nose, but still excellent. Hops were even more balanced here with equal Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe. Also floral, papaya, mango, passion fruit, guava, pine, grapefruit, black pepper, bubblegum, grass and lime zest. Did not taste anywhere near 8 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.50)
Just a tremendous beer. So flavorful and so smooth. (Overall - 4.50)
