We began this utterly exquisite IPA with massive amounts of Mosaic, Strata, Cashmere, El Dorado, & Sultana hops, followed by a generous helping of vanilla. Finally, just to be ridiculous, we added huge quantities (understatement) of blueberries and coconut to create a creamy, indulgent spectacle of liquid fruit-magic.

Grabbed a 4-pack of this, splitting it with Sonny, with a host of others for the second special release of July by Modern Times. Had one while at Sonny’s, giving it a 4 on Untappd and writing, “Probably better than a 4.” Time to see. Poured a reddish purple tomato color with two fingers of off-white head, which dissipated quickly. Couldn’t really see any bubbles underneath. Poor watery lacing. Below average retention. (Sight - 3.00)
Smelled big coconut chips up front, followed by vanilla, nuts (pecan?) and hints of blueberry. More coconut from the can. For hops maybe was getting some Mosaic and El Dorado, but really coconut rules the day here. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted much better than the smell. In order got big coconut chips, butter pecan ice cream, vanilla and blueberry. For the mentioned hops, I think Mosaic and Cashmere, followed by El Dorado. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.50)
This was excellent overall. Liked it a lot. (Overall - 4.25)
